Janis and staff were great! Our bridal parties ranged from folks who wear a lot of make-up to folks who never wear make-up, they did a great job with listening to what everyone wanted.

We all looked flawless and got a ton of compliments! It lasted the entire day/night and still looked fresh at the end of the night.

Also, Janis is great to work with and is a lot of fun. We would absolutely recommend her and her team for any wedding/special event!

I paid for the hair and makeup for my sister’s wedding since that wasn’t her thing and I LUCKED out with the referral my hair stylist gave me to Janis. Janis and her assistant Carla were FANTASTIC! Carla did my makeup and Janis did my sister’s (bride) and her fiancé’s (another bride), both wanted very natural looks and were blown away. Janis listened to exactly what we all wanted and delivered. Her trial appointments on the weekends fit perfectly into my sister’s busy schedule.

The day of the wedding she came right to the hotel before the wedding and was great at keeping everyone moving to make sure all of us were done before we needed to be at the venue. Even my grandma who was a makeup artist in her earlier years asked to get her makeup done once she saw all of us.

The amount of compliments I got at the wedding (woman AND men) were insane. She even airbrushed one of the groom’s men who had blemishes and filled in the eye brows of a groom’s men who had alopecia. Also if you have sensitive skin or an allergy to gluten, she accommodates that w/o an extra cost or complaints.

The second most important thing to me was that she was affordable, I was getting quotes from other Boston area makeup artists for $110/per person, she was right at my price point ($60-70 depending if you wanted lashes- which are definitely worth it).
